Magical Events & Decor – Terms & Conditions

By submitting an inquiry, booking services, making a payment, or entering into an agreement with Magical Events & Decor (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Services

Magical Events & Decor provides event planning, event styling, décor design, rentals, setup, breakdown, and related event services. Specific services will be outlined in a proposal, invoice, or written agreement provided to the Client.

2. Inquiries & Availability

Submitting an inquiry form or communicating with Magical Events & Decor does not guarantee availability. Event dates and services are reserved only after:

  • A consultation is completed, and
  • A non-refundable deposit/reservation fee is received.

We reserve the right to decline any event for any reason at our sole discretion.

3. Bookings, Deposits & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.
  • The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline stated in your invoice or agreement.
  • Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in cancellation without refund.
  • Payments are accepted via approved payment methods only.

No setup, delivery, or services will begin until payment requirements are met.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All deposits and reservation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  • If the Client cancels, all payments made are forfeited unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • If Magical Events & Decor must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to a refund of payments made, excluding the deposit unless required by law.

5. Event Changes

  • Changes to event details (date, time, location, services, guest count, design scope) must be submitted in writing.
  • Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
  • Last-minute changes (within 7 days of the event) are not guaranteed.

6. Rentals & Damages

  • Client assumes full responsibility for all rental items from the time of delivery until pickup.
  • Client is responsible for loss, theft, damage, or excessive wear.
  • Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the Client.
  • Rental items may not be moved, altered, or removed without permission.

7. Venue & Access

  • Client is responsible for confirming venue rules, setup times, breakdown times, and access permissions.
  • Magical Events & Decor is not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions, lack of access, or third-party interference.
  • Any additional labor or time required due to venue limitations may incur additional fees.

8. Setup, Breakdown & Timing

  • Setup and breakdown times are determined by the Company.
  • Delays caused by the Client, venue, or third parties may result in reduced setup or incomplete services without refund.
  • Extended service time beyond contracted hours will incur overtime fees.

9. Weather & Force Majeure

Magical Events & Decor is not responsible for events impacted by weather conditions, acts of God, power outages, government restrictions, illness, accidents, or emergencies, or any circumstances beyond reasonable control. No refunds will be issued for such events.

10. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate event information
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Secure valuables and personal items
  • Comply with all venue and safety rules

We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

11. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Magical Events & Decor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for services.
  • We are not responsible for the actions or failures of third-party vendors.

12. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Magical Events & Decor, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, or legal fees arising from the event, Client negligence, guest behavior, venue conditions, or third-party actions.

13. Photography & Marketing

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Client grants Magical Events & Decor permission to photograph and/or video décor and event elements for marketing, social media, and promotional use.

14. Intellectual Property

All designs, concepts, styling, and creative materials remain the intellectual property of Magical Events & Decor and may not be copied or replicated without written consent.

15. Non-Disparagement

Client agrees not to make false, misleading, or defamatory statements about Magical Events & Decor online or otherwise. Concerns must be addressed directly with the Company first.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, along with any invoices, proposals, or written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.

18. Acceptance

By submitting a form, signing an agreement, or making a payment, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
